The workshop took place on April 8-10, 2024. More than 80 participants, including 17 invited speakers from across the globe, attended the workshop. Invited speakers presented their latest research results on post-quantum cryptography and privacy-preserving machine learning.

In addition to the invited talks, 23 participants presented their work in the form of posters. The technical program was complemented by long breaks, giving the participants room for socializing and informal discussions.

A banquet held at a traditional Bavarian restaurant in the center of Munich allowed for a more informal chat over dinner for all participants.

As Information theorists, we cherish coffee, sweets, and the birthday paradox. In addition to coffee and sweets, we celebrated the birthdays of around ten participants whose birthday was during and one week before or after the workshop.

The feedback from the participants was overwhelmingly positive. The organizers would like to cordially thank all participants for contributing to the success of this workshop. In particular, we thank the invited speakers who freed their busy schedules and traveled all the way to Munich to participate in this workshop.

The speakers put a lot of effort into perfectly tuning their talks to the diverse audience of cryptographers and coding theorists without sacrificing technical depth or content. We thank everyone who presented their research on a poster at the workshop.

A full program with a list of invited speakers, poster presenters, titles of the talks and posters, abstracts and some of the slides are available online at .

If you are interested in attending a future iteration of MWCC, keep an eye on the website or get in touch with the organizers. We look forward to seeing you in Munich.
