Our project seeks to transform space communication by implementing goal-oriented strategies that optimize data exchange and network performance. Key advancements include the development of principles for goal-oriented sampling, scheduling, random access, and flow control specifically tailored for space networks.
The project aims to enhance communication efficiency and performance in space networks, bridging the gap between terrestrial and non-terrestrial communication standards.
The GO SPACE project, led by Prof. Dr. Elif Uysal, located in Middle East Technical University, Ankara, TURKIYE focuses on developing goal-oriented communication systems for space networks. Innovative techniques such as Post-Modern Random Access (PMRA) and Goal-Oriented Flow Control will be implemented to achieve this goal.
Through collaboration with DLR (German Aerospace Agency), we aim to pioneer goal-oriented communication systems for space networks, refining our proposed strategies and addressing the unique challenges inherent in space communication.
