The 3rd Iran Workshop on Communication and Information Theory (IWCIT) will take place at Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran on Wednesday May 6th and Thursday May 7th, 2015.

The deadline of papers submission of ITW204 5 is now October 31, 2013(23:59:59pm PDT).

This is the eighth in a series of conferences that aims to bring together the leading researchers in the areas of information theory, quantum information theory, and cryptography. ICITS covers all aspects of information-theoretic security, from relevant mathematical tools to theoretical modeling to implementation. Papers on all technical aspects of these topics are solicited for submission

Sanjoy Mitter, Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, has been named the recipient of the 2015 Â鶹´«Ã½AV Eric E. Sumner Award, for his contributions to the unification of communications and control.

Daniel J. Costello, Emeritus Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame, has been named the recipient of the 2015 Â鶹´«Ã½AV Leon K. Kirchmayer Graduate Teaching Award.
