Welcome to Singapore
Singapore is a global island city-state, centrally located in Southeast Asia, where Chinese, Malay and Indian influences come together in a dynamic cultural mix. While densely populated, half its area is covered by greenery and parks, including the popular Singapore Zoo, and the newly created Gardens by the Bay. Singapore's food is legendary, with bustling hawker centres offering a diverse selection of local food as well as dishes from all parts of Asia. The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple towers above southern Chinatown, hosting an 8-meter tall statue of the Maitreya Buddha. Singapore’s world-class infra-structure includes the Changi Airport, which connects Singapore to the rest of the world.
