The 2022 Â鶹´«Ã½AV European School of Information Theory (ESIT) will be held in Vienna, Austria, between July 4 and 7, 2022, at Technical University (TU) Wien.

The European School of Information Theory (ESIT)Ìýis an annual educational event, organized by the Â鶹´«Ã½AV Information Theory Society (ITSoc), for graduate students, postdocs and researchers from institutes throughout Europe and beyond. The objective of the school is to provide participants with the opportunity (i) to learn from distinguished lecturers by attending long-format tutorials, (ii) to present their own work to obtain feedback and to start up collaborations, (iii) to hear about applications of information theory in industry, and (iv) to participate in a stimulating and inviting forum of scientists.

In 2022, the school is planned to beÌýheld in-person (providedÌýcircumstances allow)Ìýin Vienna, Austria, featuring several plenary talks, attendee poster sessions and social events. If required, we will offer a virtual format.

We are looking forward to welcoming many participants from Europe and all over the world!Ìý
