Biography

Victoria Kostina joined Caltech as an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering in the fall of 2014.

Previously, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher with Dr. Sergio Verdú. She completed her PhD at   in September 2013. She spent the spring of 2015 as a Research Fellow at  . She holds a Bachelor's degree from  , where she was affiliated with the  , and a Master's degree from  .

She received the 2013 Princeton Electrical Engineering Best Dissertation Award and the  .

Her research interests lie in information theory, theory of random processes, coding, wireless communications, and control. She is particularly interested in  .
