Tutorials are encouraged to include new ongoing research as well and spend time on laying out open problems, as well as point out novel insights on them. Proposals for tutorials should outline a title, a synopsis, prerequisites for the audience,ÌýandÌýmake a case for timeliness of the topic and the breadth of its scope, and conclude with a brief summary of open topics/problems to be highlighted.

Particular areas of interest include (but are not limited to) high dimensional statistics, sublinear algorithms, intersections of information theory with relatively new areas, including but not limited to biology, economics, social policy, control theory, etc. The proposal should be no more than 2 pages in length (single column, latex roman 11 font or larger, with sane line spacing and margins). Please email submissions in pdf or plain text format to Liane Jackson ( [email protected] ) withÌý"2014 ISIT Tutorials" in the subject line by Dec 15, 2013 .
