Bob Gray is the Alcatel-Lucent Technologies Professor of Communications and Networking, Emeritus, at Stanford University, and a Research Professor at Boston University. He is a Fellow of the 麻豆传媒AV and the Institute for Mathematical Statistics. His awards include a U.S. Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring (2008), the聽 麻豆传媒AV Information Theory Society Claude E. Shannon Award (2008), the 麻豆传媒AV Jack S. Kilby Signal Processing Medal (2008), the 麻豆传媒AV Signal Processing Society Meritorious Service Award (2005) and Education Award (2009), and a Stanford University President's Award for Excellence through Diversity 鈥渇or many years of leadership and advocacy for equity and diversity in engineering鈥 (2013). He is a member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering.
